How does it work?
Linked up number plates can be used to send and receive emergency alerts including but not limited to: parking alerts (pets left in a hot car, tight parking spaces, wrong parking spot), flooding alerts, auto break-ins alerts, etc. Vehicle owners and operators can be easily contacted via pointing mobile phone cameras towards their number plates and/or entering their plate numbers manually.
Business and Marketing Applications
Vehicle owners and operators can also link up their number plates to an advertisement or a marketing content on their preferred social media platform. For every looked up event, linkers receive a notification and their social profile can always be looked up for as long as the looked up content remains in the linker's posts.
A wide variety of businesses including auto dealers, automobile service providers, realtors, trades, home maintenance and etc use our platform for marketing purposes.
The tech stack of LinkMe softwares is based on JavaScript language. Services are developed by Node.Js which is a light, scalable, and cross-platform way to execute code. It makes our services efficient and scalable. Meteor.Js is the platform for exposing our services to the front-end. Building javascript applications by Meteor.Js makes communication between front-end and back-end simple and efficient.
For developing user interfaces, we use React.Js as a JavaScript library that is used specifically for single-page applications. Components in React have their own internal logic and their rendering work independently. These features help us to create fast and reliable pages.
MongoDB is the database that stores the data of the system. It enables us to scale applications efficiently, handle different data types, and manage applications easily. We use Document Data Model that is a great way to store and retrieve variable data that we have for different contents.
AWS cloud computing services are reliable and scalable resources that we use in different areas.
AWS S3 is our object store in order to persist files of the system on a distributed file system. Our web application servers (meteor instances) and database (MongoDB instance) are hosted on AWS EC2 machines. It provides us with complete control of our machines and we are able to run on Amazon computing environment. It provides secure, resizable compute capacity in the cloud.
We use AWS ELB to provide scalability and fault tolerance by automatically distribute incoming application traffic over the multiple application server instances. It also scales resources to provide traffic requirements.
AWS CloudFront as our content delivery network provider is utilized to speed up the delivery of our contents. It securely delivers data to customers globally with high speeds and low latency.
For detecting malicious files we use ClamAV antivirus engine by utilizing it on the AWS Lambda platform. ClamAV is an open-source antivirus engine for detecting trojans, viruses, malware & other malicious threats.
Google Cloud Vision is the OCR service that we use to extract data from the uploaded images. It’s a powerful pre-trained machine learning model that provides high accuracy. Amazon Rekognition also helps us to identify car plates from images and label them.
AWS CodeDeploy is our deployment tool that automates our deployments to our EC2 instances. It helps us to rapidly release new features and avoid downtime during application deployment.
GitHub is the repository of our source code. It hosts our source code projects and keeps track of all changes we made to them.
